What does the tariff include?
The tariff is inclusive of breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea/coffee refreshments. We encourage you to bring your own alcohol and additional snacks.
What is the cancellation policy?
15 days prior – 80% refund
7 days prior – No refund
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
Shifting of bookings dates is subject to availability.
What are the meals like at Aura?
Meals at Aura are simple, nutritious and delicious. We try to source as many things from our own organic kitchen garden and encourage seasonal foods.
Breakfast: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Lunch: 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Tea/Coffee: 5:00 PM
Dinner: 8:00 – 8:30 PM
The kitchen opens at 7AM in the morning. Kitchen is closed from 3:00-5:00 PM. The kitchen closes for the day at 10PM.
Is there a provision for extra mattresses?
There is a provision for a single extra mattress per bedroom, additionally chargeable at INR 5K/person
Can we do a pottery workshop?
We highly encourage you to indulge in a pottery learning experience. Guided workshops are available at 2K/person. The workshop lasts between 1-2 hours. Your pieces are fired and shipped to you.
Are cabs easily available to and from Aura?
Ubers are easily available from all bus stands, railways station, and airport to and from Aura. They cost anywhere between 500-1500 depending on mode of transport. You are advised to book cabs in advance from Aura.
Is the property pet-friendly?
We do not advise bringing your pets to Aura, as we have 4 full grown dogs at the property – Fifi, Bosch, Bono & Ella.

How far is Aura from Chandigarh?
Aura is about 20-25 minutes from the city centre, on the outskirts of Chandigarh.
Distance from Airport: 45-50 minutes
Distance from Railway Station: 45-50 minutes
Distance from bus stands: 20-30 minutes.
Can we play loud music at Aura?
While we’d love for you to enjoy the space as your own, we do not encourage loud music. Aura is set amidst natural beauty and a quiet setting – we hope to have you indulge in those aspects of the property.
Can Aura be used for shoots?
Yes! Aura is a beautiful location for fashion, pre-wedding, home decor and beauty shoots. Take a look at our Shooting page, to see previous shoots
Can Aura be used for private gatherings?
Aura is available as a venue for private gatherings, intimate parties, and small events, and wedding functions. Take a look at our Venue Page for more information.
Can my friends visit me at the homestay?
If anyone is interested in visiting Aura, they’ll need to book in advance. However, we would absolutely love to have them join us for our pottery workshop! Thank you for understanding.
